Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) | Frankfurt

Companies such as the RTL Group, Haufe Lexware, Cornelsen and EWE AG automate their subscription business with the billwerk platform and rely on us.

As Senior DevOps Engineer with experience (m/f/d) you are a part of the billwerk team and will be given responsibility for the operations and end-to-end deployment pipeline of a key technology platform. You will be working with software developers, QA and system engineers to deliver secure services with maximum uptime.

Your tasks as Senior DevOps Engineer

support the automation and streamlining of our infrastructure, operations and deployment processes
contribute to automated processes, using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Terraform
develop and maintain tooling and automation-based monitoring of production environments to provide proactive alerts on system health and reliability
support the software development process as defined by the Agile Scrum process
troubleshoot and resolve root cause issues in our dev-, test-, and production- environments
Support employees with internal communication systems (Slack, Jira, Confluence, Notebooks, Office 365, internal networks)

Your qualification

degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in a similar DevOps and/or IT role
background in both Linux and Windows servers administration
Docker, containers architecture knowledge
IT-Security knowledge
experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC)
experience with building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
english language proficiency (upper intermediate or higher)

Nice to have:

experience with Microsoft Azure
Office365 administration experience
Jira / Confluence administration experience
Data-Protection and PCI-DSS standards knowledge
